Projection Mapping.

Map video onto any surface — facades, stage sets, product launches. From surface analysis to multi-projector blends.

— Who it’s for

Beyond the flat screen.

VJs & artists

You want to move beyond flat screens onto real surfaces.

Event & production

You need to plan and deliver mapped installs.

Designers

You want the technical craft behind mapping, not just the look.

— What you’ll learn

By the end, you can do this.

  • +Survey a surface and plan the projection.
  • +Choose and position projectors with confidence.
  • +Warp, mask and edge-blend a clean image.
  • +Run multi-projector and multi-surface setups.
  • +Deliver a portfolio-grade mapped commission.

— About this course

Mapping is just precise tracing.

Projection mapping looks like magic and is mostly method: survey the surface, plan the throw, warp and blend with care. Get the process right and results are reliable, not lucky.

You’ll work the full pipeline — venue survey, projector maths, warping, masking and multi-projector blends — and finish with a commission you can show clients.

Your instructor · Tom Dziedziejko

I’m Tom — I’ve mapped facades, stage sets and product launches, where the maths has to be right before a single pixel lands. This is the exact process I use on real commissions.
